8 Days 7 Nights -HANOI-HALONG-SAIGON-SIEMREAP


 Day 1: Hanoi arrival + Afternoon city tour

Welcome to Vietnam - a land of untouched nature, primeval forests and dusty roads!
Upon arrival in the airport, meet up our guide and transfer to hotel. (Check – in after 14 pm).
Afternoon, visit to picturesque West Lake and the sixth century Tran Quoc Buddhist Pagoda
Continue to visit Hoan Kiem Lake (Sword Lake) and its surrounding includes: Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, Hanoi Opera House, St. Joseph’s Cathedral (outside) and Ngoc Son Temple with Sunrise Bridge then we will go through around Hanoi’s Old Quarter for shopping.
Overnight in Hanoi. 
Distance        Noi Bai Airport – Hanoi Central: 35km -> 45 minute transfer
                                                          

 

 Day 2: Hanoi - Halong Overnight Cruise (B/L/D)

This morning travel by road through the Red River Delta to beautiful Halong Bay. The scenic drive will pass through rural landscapes before arriving at this World Heritage site. Upon arrival board the Boat where you will enjoy a welcome drink and a delicious freshly caught seafood lunch whilst sailing out of the bay passing amazing shaped mountains.

 Day 3: Halong Cruise - Hanoi - Saigon (B/BR)

Enjoy early morning view of the bay’s landscape. Enjoy the breath-taking beauty of the rocky islands rising from the water of the bay. Sailing back to the Harbour. After check out drive back to Hanoi and to the airport for your filight to Saigon. Upon arriving in Saigon, our guide will take you to the hotel.

 Day 4: Saigon - Mekong Delta - Saigon (B)

Transfer to outskirt of Saigon and begins the tour on the beautiful countryside road.
Start at Tourist Boat Station (My Tho), cruising on Tien (Mekong) river and seeing four islands: Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise, Phoenix. Enjoy fresh coconut juice. Stop at Thoi Son Island, go walking around countryside road, seeing orchards, enjoy tropical fruits and listen to traditional music. Take a rowing boat on small canal with beautiful scenery of country side, to visit honey-bee farm and enjoy honey-tea. Drive back to Saigon.

 Day 5: Saigon - Siemreap by flight - Artisan D’Angkor (B)

Free time to relax till our guide takes you to airport for your onward flight (check-out before  12 at noon).  Upon arrival guide will take you to hotel (Check in after  14 pm).
Afternoon, visit to Artisan D’Angkor, a handicraft center the Handicraft for the wood and stone carving processes.  Continue visit to Wat Thmey or Killing Field, contains a unique glass-walled stupa containing the bones of victims of the Khmer Rouge

 Day 6: Full Day Angkor (B)

After breakfast, visit to The South Gate of Angkor Thom: Bayob Temple, The Royal Enclosure, Phimeanaka, Elephant and Leper King Terrace. Continue visit to Ta Promh (the jungle temple. After lunch, visit to Thommanan, Chaosay Tevoda, Ta Keo: small, attractive temple in very good condition, built all the same time as Angkor Wat. Continue to Angkor Wat: The “7th Wonders’of the World”. World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology. Continue visit to Bakheng Hill: Sunset viewing on the top of the hill. Bakheng is the first major temple to be constructed in the Angkor area; this temple-mountain offers extraordinary views.

Note:
 All visitors to Angkor Temples are required to wear modest clothing: no short pants or short skirts (knees must be covered) and no sleeveless shirts (shoulders must be covered). See-through clothing will also not be allowed.
As for the visit of Bakan Tower of Angkor Wat Temple itself, closed for 4 days of a month on the Theravada Buddhist Religious Calendar, visitors are required to wear decent attires with shoulders and knees properly covered (Non-revealing dress). The visitors are particularly requested to stand in queue awaiting their turns to climb up to this peak, and children under twelve year-old are not permitted to do so for their own safety reason.

 

 Day 7: Tonle sap + City Tours (B)

After breakfast, visit to Floating Village, take a ride by traditional wooden boat on Tonle Sap Lake to experience the human occupations at the edges of the lake is similarly distinctive – floating villages, towering stilled houses, huge fish traps, and an economy and way of life deeply intertwined with the lake, the fish, the wildlife and the cycles of rising and falling waters. Afternoon, we will  visit the Angkor National Museum known as the grand entrance to a world-class heritage that reveals the glory of Angkor Civilization. This museum enhances the cultural heritage of the Golden Era of Khmer Kingdom through amassed collection of invaluable artifacts and through state of the art multimedia technology exhibition for a full picturesque legendary story and followed by  one of the city’s lively open markets, Psar Chars, also called the “Old Market”, surrounded by elegant French Colonial colonnades!. Look for the daily-life market scenes such as an opium smoking Chinese merchant, the colonial era French officer at the market and the French soldiers attending a traditional dance performance. Also of interest is the large collection of Buddha statues located behind the main Buddha.
